This is a place where you get to know me a little bit.
My name is Jiayuan Yang. I go by Jia, which is the first part of my given name, and the middle character in my Chinese name. Or Charlotte, which is a very English name my very English English teacher in elementary school gave me.
I was born in Beijing, and grew up in Singapore.
I speak Mandarin and English, and a tiny little bit of French.
I went to high school in Beijing and college in California.
I went to UC Santa Barbara, or as I like to call, an Instagram model daycare center, for undergrad.

I worked at LACMA for almost a year, which was fun, so I would very much like to work at/for a museum again.
I also briefly worked on the set of a reality tv show, which was utterly chaotic, but also fun.
My career goal/dream job is where creativity and practicality intersect, and to help creat things that make people's life more interesting.
